Why the Limousin?

Well it chose us really. We came here for a weeks holiday back in 2003. We visited the south of the region in the area called the Correze and made our way further northwest to the Haute Vienne.

The Haute Vienne is an area of green lush rolling hills, large forests and lots of lakes. Great for mountain biking which is what we love to do. We decided to buy a house here, near to St Junien. It’s 40 minutes from Limoges airport and all the facilities you need are close by. Over the last three years the area has developed into quite a busy place but still retaining its countryside feel. After coming for lots of holidays to our house, we have decided we want to move here permanently. We will be arriving on 31^st March 2007. More soon …..
